UNESCO: Batik, Indonesia's Cultural Treasure

Do you know that finally the United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) has officially recognized batik as an Indonesia's cultural treasure, Indonesia's cultural heritage today October 2nd, 2009. This day is also used as batik day in Indonesia and if you come to Indonesia today, you will see all Indonesian people wearing batik with many variety of motifs, shades and colors come from many different cities in Indonesia. Happy Batik Day.... ;)
